What does an HR Effectiveness and Efficiency Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The HR Efficiency & Effectiveness Manager is both a hands-on and strategic role, providing both team and project leadership in support of Swire Coca-Cola's Human Resources Operational Excellence initiative. The goal is to create an efficiency ratchet within Human Resources, exponentially improving efficiency through standardization, simplification, automation, or elimination, or a combination of these approaches. The person in this role will lead the HR Efficiency and Effectiveness team's efforts, including identification and execution of project initiatives as well as management of the improvement process through to successful implementation in order to achieve HR Operational Excellence. This position is operating within the HR department.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the HR Efficiency and Effectiveness team. * Prioritizes individual growth and development of the team's people and their careers. * Represents the company to the team through effective communication and ownership of the messages
  • Holds team members accountable to their goals and expectations
  • Project Initiation: works with leadership to identify opportunities, conceptualize success, and define project goals. Facilitates project kick-off
  • Project Planning: develops comprehensive project plans (scope, budget, resources, objectives, milestones, timelines, governance protocols, etc.) for HR initiatives using the appropriate project management approaches and tools for the project's needs
  • Project Delivery: Monitors project execution to completion by managing to plan as well as identifying and overcoming roadblocks. Maintains stakeholder alignment throughout and escalates decision-making as needed
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintains clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and risks
  • Collaboration and Facilitation: Designs and facilitates problem-solving activities to get at root cause and identify and test solutions that drive results. Establishes partnerships and consults with team members to drive collaboration throughout
  • Resource Management: Involves appropriate subject-matter experts. Expertly allocates team members to projects. Identifies, recommends, and manages vendor partners as required
  • Risk Management: Identifies potential risks to success, quality and budget and develops mitigation to contain risk and ensure success


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business management or similar preferred
  • PgMP - Program Management Professional preferred or
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred or
  • Certified Scrum Manager preferred
  • 6+ years experience managing large-scale, complex projects required and
  • 2+ years experience with Human Resources projects preferred
  • Understands the efficiency ratchet concept and is excited to deliver against high expectations
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including direct and indirect leadership. Can effectively inspire, motivate, and influence
  • Demonstrated successful application of project management methodology and tools with a track record of quantifiable results
  • Demonstrated technological acuity; ability to gather data, metrics, and performance trends from disparate sources, analyze it, then provide solutions for improvement which include leveraging technology to the maximum extent possible
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, policies, and regulations
