Position Overview:

Our client's Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will be responsible for software test automation design, planning, scripting, and execution for a several customer-facing and mobile applications. What You Will Be Doing:

The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will be responsible for software test automation design, planning, scripting, and execution for key customer-facing and mobile applications.

You will work with developers, project managers, and other team members throughout the company to develop automated test scripts.

* You will prioritize test scenarios and make execution outlines to implement them.

* You will work to efficiently increase and maximize test coverage for critical system features.

* You will create automation scripts that are crucial to the development of new features.

* You will define and execute different strategies for PTA or performance testing automation.

* You will track, escalate, and document any issues that you have found through JIRA.

* You will identify and define any testing needs. This will include decisions between black, white, and grey box testing.

* You will be responsible for documenting automated processes. Some of these may include test plans, procedures and cases.

* You will help as an asset to the deployment of applications and perform validation testing.

* You will perform testing such as manual or exploratory for complex features or situations that are not automated.

* You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement when it comes to the processes and the tools for automation.

* You will be responsible for creating testing programs that will in turn detect database impacts, software situations, regression testing, bugs, usability, or negative testing.

What We're Looking For:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related

* A minimum of five years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer

* A minimum of 3 years of experience as automation test engineer

* A Minimum of 3 years of experience working in agile methodology

* A minimum of 2 years of experience writing automation scripts using Python, Java or similiar

* A minimum of 3 years of experience of testing REST or SOAP APIs.

* A minimum of 3 years of experience tools like Selenium or GUI / Web Automation Testing tools

* A minimum of 2 years of experience in performance testing using tools such as LoadRunner or similar

* A minimum of 2 years' experience with relational databases

* Some experience in BDD automation framework would be highly desirable
