PURPOSE OF POSITION: Effectively perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of resort facilities and furnishing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Commercial Kitchen Equipment, Boilers, Control Systems: Know and understand basic design of gas fired burners, boilers and kitchen equipment. Able to perform maintenance diagnostics and effect repairs
  • Electrical, HVAC: Understand electrical systems and HVAC systems. Troubleshooting, service, and repair of pumps, condensers, motors, lighting and electrical circuits
  • Refrigeration: Experience in refrigeration, knowledge of Hussmann rack systems as well as conventional pump down systems
  • Plumbing: Install faucets, seats, drain seals. Remove/install toilets, auto flushers. Troubleshoot drainage problems, water leaks, lack of water and effect repairs
  • Carpentry: Understand woodworking and carpentry. Should be able to work on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs and doors


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills, and able to effectively perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of resort facilities and furnishing
  • Must work well with others and function as a team member
  • Willing to learn new skills and perform tasks in a timely and safe manner
  • Must be service oriented and self-motivated
  • Computer skills helpful
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Be willing to perform other duties as assigned
  • Work schedules may include night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be physically able to perform maintenance duties and tasks
  • Able to work on ladders and scaffolding safely
  • Lifting and carrying 50+ lbs.
