SummaryWe are looking for a seasoned electronics technician to join our team: a person who is hands-on, has digital and analog circuit understanding and troubleshooting experience, a problem-solver, and self-motivated.

Job Description

Skill Requirements

  • Strong background in electronics.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
  • Good soldering and rework skills for both surface mount and through hole PCB's. Familiar with using an air gun, and solder braid.
  • Proficient at using an oscilloscope, clamp meters, digital multimeters, and function generators.
  • Familiar with the design and application of digital and analog filters.
  • Working knowledge of RS-232 protocols and wiring.
  • Experience constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools, and reading drawings.
  • Ability to create and update work instructions.
  • Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
  • Comfortable working near high voltage.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office Software especially Word and Excel.
  • C, C++ coding experience is a plus.
  • Power supply design and high voltage experience are beneficial.
  • Assembling, evaluating, testing, new PCB variants.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing component level devices.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree in electronics technology or equivalent electrical schooling
  • >4 years' experience

Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.

  • Medium work that will frequently require employee to lift/move up to 5 lbs. and occasionally 1-33%, lift more than 30 lbs. to greater than 50lbs.

  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and/or suppliesoccasionally 1-33%, Reaching above and below the shoulder occasionally 1-33%,

  • Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools Frequently.

  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities.

  • Work environments includes exposure to chemicals, electrical current, proximity to moving, repetitive hand motion.

  • Does not travel to other sites.
