Job Profile SummaryPerforms general duties in and around the buildings of the facility including equipment installation, repair and maintenance, new construction and remodels.

* Shift Details:Full time, 0500 to 1330 Monday through Friday. On call during winter for snow removal.
* Primary Location: Primary Children's Hospital
Job Essentials
- Performs corrective maintenance and repairs on defective mechanical equipment to ensure equipment operates in an effective manner. Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
- Installs equipment as assigned.
- Maintains tools and test equipment in proper operating condition.
- Performs or assists in minor technical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs as assigned.
- Responsible for weeding, trash and litter collection, pest control and IPM, mowing and fertilizing and snow removal.
- Maintain perennials, shrubs and trees
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance procedures.

Experience with a variety of construction and maintenance skills; such as minor technical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs.
- and -
Proven ability to trouble shoot and repair maintenance issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Trade school in either construction, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical
