Job Description

DEKA Research and Development, housed in Manchester, NH, has an immediate opening for multiple Sr. Verification and Validation Test Techniciansto work in a dynamic Medical Device Research and Development environment. The Senior Test Technician is needed to execute tests of innovative medical devices using high precision digital balances and various other test equipment. This person will be responsible for independently performing complex tests, as well as collaborating with other technicians and engineering personnel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of performing test procedures efficiently, with a high degree of accuracy, in a professional testing environment.

How you will make an impact:

  • Performing test procedures with complex test setups according to written instructions
  • Documenting test results
  • Assessing Pass/Fail outcomes relative to established criteria
  • Communicate with engineering personnel to assist with troubleshooting as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • 6+ monthsexperience testing complex medical products or equivalent lab experience.
  • Experience executing tests of complicated systems through use of precision equipment including precision balances, environmental chambers, and temperature loggers.
  • Experience testing and monitoring performance of fluid delivery systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal instruction as well as collaboratively as part of a team effort.
  • Experience working with engineering personnel to troubleshoot and communicate test anomalies.
  • Experience using Excel, custom SW tools, and Python command-line instructions for data collection and test execution.
  • Attention to detail.
